Eagle Pass City Council Election Early Voting Starts Tuesday, April 22nd through 29th

The City of Eagle Pass, Texas City Council Election of May 3, 2025 starts on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 with the Early Voting Period and continuing until Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at the Cruz Antonio Munoz Gymnasium, 2086 Roosevelt Street, Eagle Pass, Texas, featuring three seats on the City Council: Mayor, City Council Place 2, and City Council Place 4.
A total of eight candidates registered for the three City Council seats on the May 3, 2025 Ballot. For Mayor, three candidates registered and are seeking to become the new Mayor of Eagle Pass, including Jesus Casas, CPA, City Councilwoman Monica J. Cruz, and Aaron Valdez. For City Council Place 2, City Councilman Elias Diaz and Jorge Sierra are vying for the Place 2 seat. For City Council Place 4, three candidates registered and are competing for the Place 4 seat, including Hanson Uy Tesy, Jessica Rey Ramon, and Alberto Rodriguez.
Eagle Pass registered voters will cast their ballots for the three City Council seats at the newly designated City Polling Place, the Cruz Antonio Munoz Gymnasium, located at 2086 Roosevelt Street, Eagle Pass, Texas. Voters may enter the Cruz Antonio Munoz Gymnasium through two entries, one on Roosevelt Street through the Burr Skate Park and the second one through El Indio Highway across the street from the Casino Grocery.
Early Voting hours on Tuesday, April 22 through Friday, April 25, will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A special Saturday Early Voting date has been established on April 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for voters who work during the week. The final two days of Early Voting are on Monday, April 28 and Tuesday, April 29 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Voters who do not cast their ballots during Early Voting, may still vote on the Regular Election Day of Saturday, May 3, 2025 at the same Cruz Antonio Munoz Gymnasium from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
All registered City of Eagle Pass voters are encouraged to come out to vote in the important City Council Election of May 3, 2025, either during Early Voting or on Regular Election Day.
