Maverick Medical Supply Celebrates 15th Anniversary with Holiday Cheers

Fifteen years ago, Mario and Ruth Diaz took a giant leap of faith by opening a new durable medical equipment (DME) business in Eagle Pass, Texas designed to provide the latest and most essential medical supplies within Maverick County.
Over the past 15 years, Maverick Medical Supply under the guidance of Mario and Ruth Diaz has significantly grown in the durable medical equipment business outside of Eagle Pass and now serves South Texas communities up to a 90 miles radius from Eagle Pass,” Mario Diaz said. “While we focus on serving Eagle Pass and Maverick County, we have grown our business market to include patients up to a 90 mile radius from Eagle Pass,” added Mario Diaz. “We provide professional and quality durable medical equipment to patients in Del Rio, Brackettville, Uvalde, La Pryor, Crystal City, Carrizo Springs, Asherton, Big Wells, and many other communities,” noted Mario Diaz.
Mario and Ruth Diaz were recognized by the Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce on their 15th Anniversary with a celebration on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, featuring holiday cheers and Christmas caroling by Blanquita’s Adult Day Care Choir, including hot coffee, hot chocolate, pan de dulce, tamales, and a raffle of prizes and gifts to the lucky ticket holders in attendance.
Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce President Jorge Barrera welcomed the guests at the 15th Anniversary celebration of Maverick Medical Supply and congratulated Mario and Ruth Diaz on their business success and in providing valuable medical equipment and services in Maverick County and surrounding South Texas communities.
The celebration was kicked off with an invocation from a local pastor of a Christian church. A group photograph of the Mario and Ruth Diaz family, employees of Maverick Medical Supply, Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce Board members present at the event, patients, providers, and friends was taken for history sake.
Following the photograph, Blanquita’s Adult Day Care Choir accompanied by Santa Claus sang jolly Christmas songs to commemorate the holiday season and brighten the holiday cheers.
Guests were invited to come inside the beautiful Maverick Medical Supply store, located at 2483 Second Street, Suite F, Eagle Pass, Texas, for a traditional Mexican holiday treats, including hot coffee, chocolate, pan de dulce, tamales, and free raffle prizes and gifts to lucky attendees.
Maverick Medical Supply employs over 10 people in the community as a small business and contributes to the local economy through its thriving business operations.
