City of Eagle Pass Recognizes 2024 Employees of the Year

With only 20 remaining days before the end of 2024, the City of Eagle Pass, Texas recognized their 2024 Employees of the Year at a ceremony held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at the City Council Chambers, honoring a total of nine dedicated and loyal city employees for their extraordinary contributions during 2024.
Eagle Pass Mayor Rolando Salinas, Jr. joined City Manager Homero Balderas and City Human Resources Director Cynthia Campos in presenting the awards to the nine individuals selected, one employee for each of the Departments within the City of Eagle Pass.
Recognized as the 2024 Employee of the Year in the City Administration Division was Melanie Cazares of the City Attorney’s Office.
Selected as the City’s International Bridge System 2024 Employee of the Year was Leylanie Contreras.
Recognized as the 2024 Employee of the Year within the Community Development Division was Zenaida Rodriguez of the Main Street Program.
Selected as the 2024 Employee of the Year of the City’s Fire Department was Adrian Davila.
Recognized as the 2024 Employee of the Year within the City’s Parks and Recreation Department was Bobbie Carrillo.
Selected as the 2024 Employee of the Year within the City’s Police Department, Law Enforcement Division, was Humberto Garza, Jr.
Recognized as the 2024 Employee of the Year within the City’s Police Department, Civilian Division, was Diana Rodriguez.
Selected as the 2024 Employee of the Year within the City’s Public Works and Engineering Departments was Jorge Castillo.
Recognized as the 2024 Employee of the Year among the City Department Directors was Daniel Ibarra of the Public Works Department.
Mayor Salinas stated that he is proud of the many outstanding city employees within the City of Eagle Pass and congratulated these nine individuals for distinguishing themselves during 2024 and their recognition.
City Manager Homero Balderas stated he is very fortunate to have such dedicated and loyal City employees working for the citizens of Eagle Pass and congratulated each of the recipients for 2024.
City Human Resources Director Cynthia Campos added that the City employees are industrious and take great pride in working for the City of Eagle Pass and its taxpayers. She congratulated each of the nine recipients on their respective awards.
