Maverick County Hospital District Candidate Ballot Drawing Held on September 4th

The Maverick County Hospital District held its candidate ballot drawing for its Board of Directors election scheduled for November 5, 2024 on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at its District Conference Room under the direction of Election Administrator Nestor Bonilla and Executive Assistant Carolina Sanchez.
The seven candidates or their representatives attended the candidate ballot drawing ceremony. The ballot drawing is to determine in what order the names of each candidate will appear on the ballot of November 5th election.
The results of the ballot drawing are the following: No. 1 Dr. David Chisum; No. 2 Dr. Juan Martinez; No. 3 Rebecca ”Becky” Robinson; No. 4 Dr. Claudia Rodriguez-Wright; No. 5 Dr. Anita Ramirez; No. 6 Dr. Cruz Bernal; and No. 7 Gerardo Villalpando.
Maverick County voters will be able to cast their ballot for the Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors election on three candidates. The top three candidates receiving the highest number of votes at the November 5th election are elected to the MCHD Board of Directors.
The Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors is composed of five seats on the Board. Three of the five seats are up for election or re-election in the November 5th polls.
Early voting for the November 5th election starts on October 21, 2024 and runs through November 1, 2024 at the Eagle Pass Multi-Purpose Center, 480 S. Adams Street, Eagle Pass, Texas. Regular Election Day is on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Maverick County Precinct Polling Sites designated by Maverick County Commissioners Court.
All Maverick County registered voters are invited to participate and cast their ballot in the November 5, 2024 election.
