Seven Candidates to Vie for Three Maverick County Hospital District Board of Director Seats

A total of seven candidates officially registered for three of the five seats on the Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors scheduled to be on the November 5, 2024 General Election ballot, announced Nestor Bonilla, Maverick County Hospital District Interim CEO and Election Administrator.
Among the candidates who registered include current MCHD Board incumbents Rebecca Robinson and Gerardo Villalpando, Dr. Claudia Rodriguez-Wright, Dr. Anita Ramirez, Dr. David Chisum, Dr. Juan J. Martinez, and Cruz Alberto Bernal.
The top three candidates for the MCHD Board of Directors that receive the most votes at the November 5th General Election are elected. The MCHD Board of Director seats are at-large, not by place or position. Thus, the seven candidates are seeking to finish among the top three vote getters to become elected.
The Early Voting period for the November 5, 2024 Election commences on Monday, October 21 through Monday, November 1, 2024 at the Eagle Pass Multi-Purpose Center, 480 S. Adams Street, Eagle Pass, Texas.
Early Voting from October 21-25, 2024 at the Multi-Purpose Center will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Saturday, October 26th, Early Voting will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. while on Sunday, October 27th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Early Voting continues from October 28th to November 1st from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Regular Election Day is on Tuesday, November 5th, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 16 respective Maverick County Precinct voting polls designated by Maverick County Commissioners Court.
