Eagle Pass Hosts 2024 Babe Ruth Baseball 14 Year Old World Series August 8th-18th

The City of Eagle Pass, Texas and the Eagle Pass Youth Baseball and Softball Association are co-hosting the 2024 Babe Ruth Baseball 14 Year-old World Series at the City of Eagle Pass Patsy Winn Sports Complex during August 8-18, 2024, announced Morris Libson, President of Eagle Pass Babe Ruth Baseball.
A total of 16 teams from the United States, Mexico, Canada, Australia, and Aruba will participate in the 11 day World Series tournament, including teams from Torrance, California, Key West, Florida, Braintree, Massachusetts, East Central, Colorado, Janesville, Wisconsin, Altoona, Pennsylvania, Lakeridge, Oregon, Gulf Coast, Alabama, Tri-County, Maine, Keene, New Hampshire, Del Rio, Texas, Eagle Pass, Texas, Mexico, Canada, Australia, and Aruba.
“We are extremely excited to be hosting the Babe Ruth Baseball 14 Year-old World Series in Eagle Pass and welcome all the teams’ players, coaches, parents, and fans to our beautiful United States-Mexico border community,” said Eagle Pass Mayor Rolando Salinas, Jr.
The 16 teams are scheduled to begin arriving in Eagle Pass on Thursday, August 8, 2024 and the World Series Grand Opening Ceremony is scheduled on Friday, August 9th at 6 p.m. at the Eagle Pass Patsy Winn Sports Complex. The public is invited to attend the 2024 Babe Ruth Baseball 14 Year-old World Series during August 8-18th. Admission is only $40 for a tournament bracelet for persons 18 years or older and $20 for children from 7 years-old to 17 year-old, or, a one-day adult pass costs only $8 for adults from 18 year-old or older and $5 for children from 7 year-old to 17 year-old. Children six year-old or younger enjoy free admission. Tournament bracelets or one day passes may be purchased at the Eagle Pass Parks and Recreation Department at 480 South Adams Street or by calling them at (830) 773-4343 and the Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce at 400 Garrison Street or by calling them at (830) 773-3224. Bracelets and passes will also be available on site at the Eagle Pass Patsy Winn Sports Complex, 1325 Patsy Winn Blvd., Eagle Pass, Texas.
Tournament play begins on Saturday, August 9th at 9 a.m. through August 12th with a 24 game schedule in Pool Play, the Single Elimination Championship Bracket Play is scheduled from August 13-16th, and the World Series Championship between the two top teams is scheduled on Saturday, August 17th.
