2024 Eagle Pass High School Eagles Football Schedule Released

Eagle Pass High School Eagles Head Football Coach and Campus Athletic Coordinator Roger Olivas released the 2024 football schedule, featuring nine regular season games including three non-district and six district contests.
The Eagles will participate in two scrimmages to prepare for the regular season, including one game on Friday, August 16, 2024 against San Antonio Marshall Rams at 6:30 P.M. at Dub Farris Stadium in San Antonio, Texas and a second game against the Laredo Martin Tigers on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 7 P.M. at Shirley Field in Laredo, Texas.
The Eagles open the 2024 regular season with the 18th Rivalry Meeting against cross-town rival, Winn Mavericks, on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 7 P.M. at the Eagle Pass Independent School District Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium in a non-district game. The Eagles will seek to remain undefeated against the Mavericks in this series.
The Eagles will travel to San Antonio, Texas on Friday, September 6, 2024 to tangle with the San Antonio Taft Raiders in a non-district contest at 7:30 P.M. at Dub Farris Stadium.
The Eagles will have an early Open Week during the third week of the season and will make adjustments for the remainder of the season.
The Eagles return to the gridiron during the fourth week on Friday, September 20, 2024 in a non-district game against New Braunfels Canyon Cougars at 7 P.M. at the Eagle Pass ISD Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium. This game has been designated as Parents Night.
The Eagles open District 30-6A action in the fifth week of the season on Friday, September 27, 2024 against the Medina Valley Panthers at Castroville ISD Football Stadium. Medina Valley was added as a new District 30-6A member as a result of U.I.L. realignment.
The Eagles will enjoy a second Open Week during the sixth week of the season due to the U.I.L. realignment in February 2024 that left them without an opponent for this week.
In the seventh week, the Eagles battle Laredo LBJ Wolves in another district game on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 7 P.M. at Eagle Pass ISD Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The Eagles travel to Laredo, Texas in the eighth week of the season to battle the Laredo Alexander Bulldogs on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the Laredo United ISD Student Complex Center in a key district matchup.
The Eagles return home the ninth week of the season to host the Laredo United Longhorns in a pivotal district game on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 7 P.M. at the Eagle Pass ISD Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium. This game has been designated as Homecoming for the Eagles.
During the tenth week, the Eagles travel to Laredo, Texas to clash with the Laredo United South Panthers on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 7 P.M. at the Laredo United ISD Student Complex Center.
The Eagles conclude the regular season during the 11th week at home against arch-rival Del Rio Rams on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Eagle Pass Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The Eagles are under new Head Football Coach Roger Olivas and will seek to qualify among the top four teams in District 30-6A in order to make the state playoffs.
