Vibrant Services Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Home 2 Suites by Hilton

California-based Vibrant Services held the groundbreaking ceremony of its newest real estate investment in Eagle Pass, Texas on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 involving the construction of a 115 room Hotel 2 Suites by Hilton, valued at over $10 million, at 3386 East Main Street at the strategic intersection of East Main Street (U. S. Highway 277 South) and Bob Rogers Drive atop the highest elevation point in Eagle Pass, providing a breathtaking view of Eagle Pass, Southwest Texas College and Sul Ross State University-Rio Grande College campuses, and the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center.
Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors President Jorge Barrera welcomed Vibrant Services President Vipal Patel and his family visiting from California for the historic groundbreaking, public dignitaries, entrepreneurs, citizens, and guests.
Eagle Pass Mayor Rolando Salinas stated July 2nd was a great day for the City of Eagle Pass with the groundbreaking of the third new modern hotel in the community within the past year, including the state of the art Home 2 Suites by Hilton Hotel.
General Contractor for the project is Triun Construction and Ed De La Garza stated Triun has done other major construction projects in Eagle Pass and has since opened an office in Eagle Pass.
Maverick County Judge Ramsey English Cantu stated he was glad to see the City, County, Chamber of Commerce, and private investors working together to bring economic development to the community.
Vibrant Services President Vipal Patel thanked the collaborative efforts of the City of Eagle Pass and Mayor Salinas, Maverick County and Judge Cantu, and the Economic Development Department for bringing to fruition this key real estate development and investment. Patel also recognized the assistance of Mexican Consul Vivian Juarez Mondragon and State Representative Heriberto Morales, Jr. for their dedicated support of the project.
Patel noted that Vibrant Services owns the 65 room Hampton Inn across East Main Street as well. The Home 2 Suites by Hilton is the second hospitality investment made by Vibrant Services in Eagle Pass.
Patel noted that many investors had looked into the project site for other investments, but they had declined to invest in extending the utilities to the property like Vibrant Services did. Vibrant Services risk of paying for the extension of the utilities to the property site is anticipated to be a blessing and a profitable long term investment.
After Patel’s speech, Patel and his family joined local public officials, entrepreneurs, and citizens in the official groundbreaking ceremony of the new 115 room Home 2 Suites by Hilton hotel.
Guests were provided refreshments and hor’s d oeuvres to cool off from the July heat and celebrate the historic moment.
