Eagle Pass to Celebrate 4th of July Festivities with Stars & Stripes Jam Concert

The City of Eagle Pass, Texas will celebrate the 248th Anniversary of Independence Day, July 4, 2024, with multiple festivities scheduled in the community, featuring a red, white, and blue Independence Day Parade and a Stars and Stripes Jam Musical Concert.
Eagle Pass kicks-off the 4th of July celebration with a beautiful red, white, and blue patriotic Independence Day Parade on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at 10 a.m. through downtown Eagle Pass to open up the 248th Independence Day. To participate in the 4th of July Parade, please contact the Eagle Pass Parks and Recreation Department at (830) 773-4343 as participants are welcomed. The parade will start at historic San Juan Plaza, located at 600 Madison Street, and proceed towards downtown Eagle Pass.
The City of Eagle Pass will host the traditional Stars and Stripes Jam Musical Concert at Moncada Baseball Park located at S. Adams Street in the Fort Duncan Park area this year due to Governor Greg Abbott’s seizure of the city-owned Shelby Park since January of 2024. Moncada Baseball Park will now host the musical concert starting at 6 p.m. with live music being provided by Da Krazy Pimpz, Stefani Montiel, Adrian Castillo, and the LMT Band.
City officials will present a proclamation honoring the 248th Anniversary of Independence Day at 9:30 p.m. at Moncada Baseball Park and proceed with a live fireworks display at 10 p.m. All 4th of July festivities sponsored by the City of Eagle Pass is open to the public and admission is free. Bring your family and friends to celebrate America’s Independence Day.
On Sunday, June 30, 2024, the Miss 4th of July and Miss Liberty 2024 Glitz Pageant will be held at 3 p.m. at the Eagle Pass International Center for Trade under the direction of Anita Ramirez. For more information, please contact Anita Ramirez at (830) 352-9083.
On Wednesday, July 3, 2024, Maverick County will host the First Annual Las Colonias Celebrate America Fireworks Show, Games and Food Trucks at 8 p.m. at the Nick Carr Sports Complex, located at 701 Calle Potro, Eagle Pass, Texas. Admission is open to the public and free for the fireworks show and games.
On Thursday, July 4, 2024, Majik will celebrate the Majik Health and Fitness 4th of July Mile Run at 7:45 a.m. at 2343 El Indio Highway in Eagle Pass, Texas for all the runners and walkers in the community. For more information, contact Majik at (830) 776-8136.
