57 South Music Fest Kicks-Off April 5-7, 2024 at Lucky Eagle Casino in Eagle Pass, Texas

The City of Eagle Pass, Texas’s own 57 South Music Fest is scheduled to kick-off on Friday, April 5, 2024 and run through Sunday, April 7, 2024 with a star-studded lineup of 17 recording artists of all musical genres at the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Lucky Eagle Casino and Resort, announced Aide Castano, City of Eagle Pass Marketing Director.
Originally scheduled to be held at the City of Eagle Pass’s Shelby Park, the 57 South Music Fest had to be moved to the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino and Resort due to Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s unilateral seizure and takeover of the city-owned public park on January 10, 2024 for purposes of using it as a political stage against President Joe Biden and the United States government regarding immigration law enforcement.
The Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino graciously accepted the challenge and quickly began making preparations for hosting the elite 57 South Music Fest at its property in southern Eagle Pass, which is expected to draw thousands of concert-goers and aficionados of the April 8, 2024 Total Solar Eclipse predicted to be in the path of totality.
On Friday, April 5, 2024, the South Music Fest will open up with top caliber recording artists including Chris Young, Kevin Fowler, Eagle Pass’s own Gary Hobbs and Los Garcia Brothers, and Kin Faux.
On Saturday, April 6, 2024, the South Music Fest continues with another group of elite recording artists, featuring Parker McCollum, Randall King, Braxton Keith, The After Party, Eagle Pass’s own Dustin De La Garza, and Eclipse: Journey Tribute.
The finale on Sunday, April 7, 2024 will feature legendary Norteno artist Ramon Ayala, Bobby Pulido, Randy Rogers Band, Shane Smith & The Saints, Cody Hibbard, and Chicos De Barrio.
