2024 Best of Eagle Pass Peoples Choice Awards Winners Announced

The City of Eagle Pass, Texas Economic Development Department’s Best of Eagle Pass Peoples Choice Awards 2024 Edition Winners were announced on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at an awards ceremony held at the Eagle Pass International Center for Trade, 3295 Bob Rogers Drive, Eagle Pass, Texas, announced Arturo Marquez, Eagle Pass Economic Development Director.
A total of 29 awards were presented to Eagle Pass businesses in various categories selected online through Facebook with those receiving the most votes declared the winners in each of the 29 categories.
Eagle Pass Mayor Rolando Salinas, Jr. congratulated all of the nominees and winners of the 2024 Best of Eagle Pass People Choice Awards on their outstanding services and dedication to their small businesses, benefitting the local economy and employment scene.
The winners of the 29 Best of Eagle Pass Peoples Choice Awards for 2024 include:
Best Breakfast Award went to Gaona’s’s Restaurant; the Best Place for Lunch or Dinner went to Parilla San Miguel; the Best Barbeque Award went to The Wagon Wheel; the Best New Small Business went to Choche’s BBQ & Bar; the Best Pizza Award went to Cooter’s Pub; the Best Burger Award went to Yopo’s Restaurant; the Best Tacos Award went to Los Compadres; the Best Local Chicken went to Rodee’s Country Fried Chicken; the Best Bakery Award and Best Local Coffee Shop Award went to Sweet Tweets Bakery; the Best Customer Service Award went to Chick-Fil-A; the Best Family Place Award went to Peter Piper Pizza; and the Best City Park Award went to Mavericks County Lake.
Other winners included Best Snack Place Award went to Tocumbo; the Best Gym Award went to Planet Fitness; the Best Hair Salon Award went to Hair & Beauty by Olguita and Michelle; the Best Barber Shop Award went to Luis Barber Shop; the Best Place to Get a Manicure & Pedicure Award went to Infinity Nails; the Best Tattoo Shop Award went to Texas Ink Tattoos and Piercings; the Best Clothing Store Award went to CDJ Mode; the Best Western Wear Store Award went to Danny’s Western Wear; the Best Artisan Award went to Prickly Pear; the Best Flower Shop went to Lili’s Flower Shop; the Best Local Grocery Store Award went to Casino Grocery; the Best Place to Take Pictures Award went to Fort Duncan Barracks and the Eagle Pass Art and Culture Center; the Best Live Music Venue Award went to Que Pasa Lounge in the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino; the Best Cocktails Award went to Perikitos Cantina Botanera; and the Best Place to Stay Award went to Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel.
Each of the winners were presented a plaque to commemorate their Best of Eagle Pass Peoples Choice Awards category victory.
