Democratic and Republican Primaries Kick-Off Early Voting February 20-March 1, Regular Election Day is March 5

The 2024 election year kicks-off with both the Democratic and Republican parties’ primary elections with an Early Voting period from Tuesday, February 20, 2024 through Friday, March 1, 2024 at the City of Eagle Pass Multi-Purpose Center, 480 S. Adams Street, Eagle Pass, Texas, announced Maverick County Elections Director Isamari Sanchez-Villarreal.
Early voting during Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, February 23, 2024 will be held at the Multi-Purpose Center from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. At the time of presenting themselves for early voting at the Multi-Purpose Center, election staff will ask each voter in which primary do they wish to vote in-the Democratic or Republican and assist them to that primary. Voters may only vote in one primary, not in both.
The second week of early voting, the voting hours for Sunday February 25, 2024 will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This Sunday early voting date and hours are to provide registered voters who work during the week to cast their ballot on their day off, Sunday.
Early voting continues during Monday, February 26, 2024 through Friday, March 1, 2024 at the Multi-Purpose Center with extended voting hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to allow voters cast their ballots.
Regular Election Day is on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 7 a.m. through 7 p.m. at designated Maverick County Poll Sites approved by Maverick County Commissioners Court and both political parties.
For the Democratic Party Primary on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, designated polling sites are the following:
Precinct 1A: Salon de Colores, 2055 Williams Street;
Precinct 1B: Fire Station No. 2, 2420 Second Street;
Precinct 1C: Memorial Jr. High (Gym), 1800 Lewis Street;
Precinct 1D: Salon Perpetuo Socorro, 585 Alamo Street;
Precinct 2A: San Luis Elementary (Cafeteria), 2090-A Williams St.;
Precinct 2B: Ray H. Darr Elementary, 1996 Eidson Road;
Precinct 2C: Rosita Valley Elementary (Gym), 735 Rosita Valley Rd.;
Precinct 2D: El Indio Community Center, 115 West Texas Street;
Precinct 2E: International Center for Trade, 3295 Bob Rogers Drive;
Precinct 3A: Glass Elementary (Gym), 1501 Boehmer Avenue;
Precinct 3B: Seco Mines Elementary (Gym), 2900 Diaz Street;
Precinct 3C: Quemado Community Center, 20160 US Highway 277;
Precinct 4A: Maverick County Courthouse, 500 Quarr Street;
Precinct 4B: Eagle Pass High School (Girls Gym), 2020 Second Street;
Precinct 4C: St. Joseph’s Parish Hall, 800 Comal Street; and
Precinct 4D: Old EPISD Central Office (Board Room), 1420 Eidson Road.
For the Republican Party Primary on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, the designated polling sites are the following:
Precincts 1A & 1B: Fire Station No. 2, 2430 Second Street;
Precincts 1C & 1D: Memorial Jr. High (Gym), 1800 Lewis Street;
Precincts 2A, 2B & 2E: Ray H. Darr Elementary (Gym), 1996 Eidson Rd.;
Precincts 2C & 2D: Rosita Valley Elem. (Gym), 735 Rosita Valley Road;
Precinct 3A: Glass Elementary (Gym), 1501 Boehmer Street;
Precinct 3B: Seco Mines Elem. (Gym), 2900 Diaz Street;
Precinct 3C: Quemado Community Center, 20160 US Highway 277;
Precincts 4A, 4B & 4C: Eagle Pass High (Girls Gym), 2020 Second Street; and

With over 34,000 registered voters, all Maverick County voters are highly encouraged to come out and cast a ballot for the candidates and political party of their choice during the March 5, 2024 Primary election.
