The City of Eagle Pass City Secretary’s Office Receives Achievement of Excellence Award

Eagle Pass, TX – Mayor Rolando Salinas, Jr. and the City Council are proud to announce that the City Secretary’s Office has been awarded the Municipal Clerk’s Office of Achievement of Excellence Award by the Texas Municipal Clerks Association (TMCA). The City of Eagle Pass is one of the twenty-four (24) cities out of five hundred ninety-five (595) TMCA members to have been awarded this prestigious award.
TMCA’s Municipal Clerk’s Office Achievement Award was designed to recognize excellence in the effective and efficient management of resources in a Municipal Clerk’s Office (also known as a City Secretary’s Office). Municipal Clerk’s Offices are rated on twelve best practices criteria, including: professional requirements, promotion of the office, engagement with elected officials and community, and compliance with local, state, and federal standards.
