In Loving Memory of Enriqueta Chaires de Rodriguez, 07/15/1944-03/31/2023

Our merciful Lord and Savior has called his beloved daughter, Enriqueta Chaires de Rodriguez (July 15, 1944-March 31, 2023), 78 years old, to rejoice in eternal life.
“Quetita” was an ordinary woman that accomplished extraordinary achievements. She was the proud daughter of Timoteo Chaires, deceased, and Elvira Sepulveda, deceased, being the youngest daughter of Timoteo Chaires, deceased, Oscar Chaires, deceased, Amada Chaires, deceased, Rosa Garcia, deceased, and Yolanda Chaires, deceased. She married the love of her life, Miguel V. “El Tigere” Rodriguez, deceased, and happily became the loving mother of Miguel Alejandro Rodriguez, Jr., deceased, Dr. Claudia Rodriguez Wright, Dr. Jesus Roberto Rodriguez, and Nilda Isela Rueda. She also was the proud grandmother of Samantha Marie, Ileana Nicole, and Miguel Rodriguez, Jacob Israel Wright, Jr. and Jacqueline Victoria Wright, Alejandra Adlin Rueda, Rogelio Rueda, and Carolinita Rodriguez.
“Quetita” was devoted to our Father and Savior, Jesus Christ, and inculcated a strong faith in her children. She served on the Choir throughout her secondary years at De La Iglesia de Nuestra Senora De Guadalupe. Her musical talent was expanded far and wide as she wonderfully played the piano and provided concerts throughout the Piedras Negras community and region.
“Quetita” graduated majoring as Administrative Secretary and successfully exercised her career with Legal Law Firms and Doctor’s Offices. She also proudly worked at Walmart for a decade where she enjoyed chatting with the many folks from all walks of life. She was a professional licensed beautician at JC Penney and was passionate about baking and sewing with a delightful garden as a result of her green thumb.
“Quetita” had a big heart and a tender caring demeanor for which she will always be remembered by the many people she touched in her life, particularly her loved ones and intimate friends. Her heart of gold was simply tired and stopped beating to her music.
Funeral services will be held at Memorial Funeral Chapels. located at 1705 Del Rio Blvd., Eagle Pass, Texas, Telephone (830) 773-9591, consisting with viewing on Monday, April 3, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and followed by Mass on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church.
