Woman Grazed by Gunshot Fired at Federal Agent’s Residence in Eagle Pass, Texas
An Eagle Pass, Texas woman was grazed by a bullet on her leg after multiple gunshots were fired at a residence located on Cantera Circle through a window by a male individual on Monday, January 23, 2023, announced Eagle Pass Police Chief Federico Garza.
The male suspect fired four rounds into the residence through a window of the home owned by a federal Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agent and his wife in northern Eagle Pass.
The male suspect fled the scene after the gunshots, but a description of the suspect led Eagle Pass Police officers responding to the incident to detain the suspect and placed him under arrest.
The identity of the male suspect has not been released as the incident is under investigation by the Eagle Pass Police Department Criminal Investigations Division.
The woman grazed by the bullet received medical attention for her injury to the leg.
The case is under investigation.
