Eagle Pass and Maverick County citizens have privately expressed concerns that their greatest fear is that a mass shooting incident such as in Uvalde, Texas or El Paso, Texas might potentially occur in this community since Eagle Pass has received extensive attention by state and national politicians and news media concerning the current immigration crisis in the United States.
