After sweeping the District 35 Championship, Texas West Section 3 Championship, and the Texas West State Championship the past three weeks going undefeated (8-0), the mighty Maverick County Junior Softball All-Stars will face more competitive teams as each team is either a state champion or the host team of the City of Albuquerque. Nonetheless, the Maverick County All-Stars are confident they have the talent and leadership to take the Little League Junior Softball Southwest Regional Championship and advance to the Little League Junior Softball World Series.
The Southwest Regional Championship gets underway on Friday, August 22 in Albuquerque, New Mexico with Game One being between the Host Team from Albuquerque against the New Mexico State Champion followed by Game Two between Texas East versus Colorado.

The Maverick County Little League Junior Softball All-Stars of 2022 seek to become the third team from Eagle Pass to advance to the Little League Junior Softball World Series.
