In Loving Memory of Roberto S. Zertuche
Mr. Roberto S. Zertuche, was born in Quemado, Texas on December 4th, 1939, and raised in Eagle Pass, Texas, went on to be with the Lord on March 31st, 2022, at the age of 82.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marcos and Enriqueta Zertuche, sisters, Maria Luevanos, Alicia Ruiz, and Elida Zertuche, and brothers Alfredo Zertuche and Ricardo Zertuche and is survived by two sisters, Hilda Zertuche Lopez and Diamantina Z. Trevino (Antonio).
“Robe,” as he was known, enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns, singing and playing his guitar, and loved going to the casino with a few Bud Lights. He could be found most mornings jogging around Maverick County Lake, gardening, and early to bed. He was beloved by his family, including many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held on April 12th, 2022 at 11am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Helotes, Texas, located at 13715 Riggs Road. A graveside service will be held the following day on April 13th at 2pm at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery in Eagle Pass, Texas.
Roberto S. Zertuche will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him as a kind and generous person.
