Ruben Ramos Sworn-In as Texas Licensed Attorney-at-Law

Retired 293rd Judicial District Judge Cynthia Muniz officially swore-in newly Texas licensed attorney-at-law, Ruben Ramos, of Eagle Pass, Texas on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 in a ceremony held at the 293rd Judicial District Courtroom, Maverick County Courthouse, amidst a hearty gathering of family, friends, and members of the Maverick County Bar Association.
Ruben Ramos graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in May 2021 and recently passed the State Bar of Texas Exam to earn his law license from the Texas Supreme Court. Ramos is also a graduate of Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s degree and Eagle Pass High School.
Ruben Ramos is the son of Maverick County Commissioner Precinct 3 Olga Martinez-Ramos and local attorney Ricardo Ramos of Eagle Pass, Texas.
Joining Ruben Ramos at his swearing-in ceremony were his parents, Ricardo and Olga Ramos, brother, Rick Ramos and his fiancée, Priscilla Marin, and daughter, Giselle Ramos, brother, David Ramos, sister, Janelle Ramos, his girlfriend, Ivey Vielma, Maverick County 293rd Judicial District Judge Maribel Flores, 293rd Judicial District Attorney Roberto Serna, Maverick County Attorney A. J. Iracheta, 293rd Judicial Assistant District Attorneys Amanda Riojas and Hugo Zapata, Maverick County District Clerk Leopoldo Vielma and wife, Rosa Vielma, Eagle Pass Mayor Rolando Salinas, Jr., Maverick County Bar Association members Claudio Heredia, Jose Ruiz, Ruben O. Valadez, and Kassandra Flores, Aunt Myrna Martinez Rodriguez, and many friends and members of of the community.
Retired 293rd Judicial District Judge Cynthia Muniz presided over Ruben Ramos’ swearing-in ceremony just as she did for his father, Ricardo Ramos, in 2001 and his older brother, Rick Ramos, Jr., in 2014–all in the same courtroom at the 293rd Judicial District Court.
Ramos received well wishes and congratulatory remarks from his parents, retired 293rd Judicial District Judge Cynthia Muniz, 293rd Judicial District Judge Maribel Flores, 293rd Judicial District Attorney Roberto Serna, Maverick County Attorney A. J. Iracheta, Maverick County Bar Association members, family, and friends.
Following Ruben Ramos’ official swearing-in ceremony, guests were treated to refreshments and hors d’ oeuvres in honor of his official swearing-in as a licensed attorney.
