Robinson, Duran and Villalpando Win Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors Seats, Farias Ousted

Four candidates battled for three seats on the Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors in the November 3, 2020 Election with the top three with the most votes getting elected to the board.
Winning a seat on the Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors are Rebecca “Becky” Robinson with 5,946 votes, Humberto “Beto” Duran with 3,792 votes, and Gerardo “Gera” Villalpando with 3,770 votes, while 20 year incumbent Juan Manuel “Chuco” Farias was ousted from the Board at the November 3rd election.
Robinson wins re-election to the local Hospital District Board. Duran wins a return to the Hospital District Board where he served for many years.
Villalpando wins his first political campaign and a seat on the Hospital District Board, upsetting veteran Hospital District Board member Juan Manuel “Chuco” Farias for the third seat.
