Eddie Morales Wins Texas House of Representative, District 74, Over Ruben Falcon

Eagle Pass attorney and Democrat Heriberto “Eddie” Morales strong performance in Maverick County propelled him to victory over Republican Ruben Falcon for the Texas House of Representative, District 74, on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, according to Texas Secretary of State results posted online.

Eddie Morales received a total of 25,832 votes district-wide compared to Ruben Falcon’s 21,918 votes, a difference of 3,914 votes.

Eddie Morales garnered a total of 10,993 votes in Maverick County while Ruben Falcon only managed to obtain 3,841 votes, a difference of 7,152 votes to nudge Morales over the top in the district and earn him the State Representative seat.
