Sul Ross State University Fall 2020 Virtual Commencement

(Press Release) Sul Ross is continually committed to the safety and health of our students, faculty, and staff. In light of this commitment, it has been decided that the Fall 2020 Sul Ross State University Commencement will be held through a virtual ceremony on Saturday, December 12, 2020, beginning at 10:00 a.m.  All four Sul Ross campuses – Alpine, Del Rio, Eagle Pass and Uvalde – will participate in this single commencement event.

All of us in the Sul Ross family are deeply disappointed that we are unable to gather socially for this traditional celebration. We understand commencement is the moment in the college experience we all strive for and look forward to. While our goal remains to return to our regular celebration format, we are moving forward with a virtual commencement experience so that we can still highlight this important milestone in the lives of our students and their families. We are working hard to provide a fulfilling event while ensuring the safety of all the participants.
