2020 Eagle Pass High School Eagles Football Schedule Announced

Eagle Pass High School Eagles Athletic Coordinator and Head Football Coach Tom Gonzalez announced the 2020 Schedule for the mighty Eagles on Friday, September 18, 2020.
The Eagle Pass High School Eagles will play a shortened six district football game schedule instead of the regular 10 game schedule due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions placed by the Texas University Interscholastic League (UIL) on 5A and 6A high schools.
The Eagles will kick-off the 2020 season with District 29-6A nemesis Laredo LBJ Wolves on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 7 P.M. at the Laredo United Independent School District (UISD) Student Activity Complex in Laredo, Texas.
The Eagles first home game is on Friday October 30, 2020 against District 29-6A powerhouse Laredo United Longhorns at 7 P.M. at the Eagle Pass Independent School District (EPISD) Student Activity Center in Eagle Pass, Texas.
The Eagles third district game is on Friday, November 6, 2020 against the Laredo Nixon Mustangs at 7 P.M. at the Laredo Independent School District (LISD0 Shirley Field in Laredo, Texas.
The Eagles return home for their fourth district game on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 7:00 P.M. against arch-rival Laredo Alexander Bulldogs at the EPISD Student Activity Center.
The Eagles travel to Laredo the following week to battle the defending district champions Laredo United South Panthers on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 7 P.M. at the Laredo UISD Student Activity Complex.
The Eagles will enjoy an open week during November 23-27, 2020 before playing their final and sixth district game of the season against arch-rival Del Rio Rams on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 7 P.M. at the EPISD Student Activity Center.
If the Eagles qualify for the state playoffs, they will continue to play into December 2020, but if they should not qualify, then their season ends with the Del Rio Rams game.
Eagles Head Football Coach Tom Gonzalez stated the Eagles start working out on Monday, September 21, 2020 with strength and conditioning training for a week before participating in contact training drills the following week of September 28th.
Head Coach Gonzalez invites all loyal Eagles fans to come out to the games and support and cheer the Eagles on to victory.
