Maverick County/City of Eagle Pass Guidelines for outdoor events for more than 100 persons
(Press Release) Effective, Wednesday, July 1st, anyone having an outdoor event in Maverick County/City of Eagle Pass, must submit a formal request for approval to the Emergency Operations Center.
Request must include all Health and Safety measures that will be implemented to prevent the spread of COVID19. All events shall be in accordance with Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), Local Health Authority and Emergency Operations Center established guidelines:
Hosts:
• Have always sanitizing stations available (disinfecting wipes, soap and water, or similar disinfectant)
• Disinfect seats before and after event.
• Regularly and frequently clean restrooms.
Guests:
• Wear face or mask covering (Or to be provided by host)
• Self-screen for any of the COVID19 symptoms before the event.
• Maintain 6 feet of social distance separation from others.
• Wash and disinfect hands after interactions with other individuals, or items at the outdoor event.
Caterers:
• Screen all employees before event.
• Clean and sanitize any items before and after use.
• Do not leave silverware, flatware, glassware, or other items on the table.
• Provide condiments only upon request and in single use.
• No tables of more than 10 people.
• Tables should be at least 6 feet apart from back of chair to back of chair.
