Eagle Pass High School Announces Top 5% Graduates for Class of 2020

Eagle Pass Independent School District Superintendent Samuel Mijares announced the Eagle Pass High School Top Five Percent Graduates for the Class of 2020 on Friday, May 1, 2020.
The top honor of Valedictorian for the Class of 2020 at Eagle Pass High School belongs to Edwin Pua, Jr. with an extraordinary Grade Point Average (GPA) of 114.4694 while the second highest honor of Salutatorian goes to Alyssa Barrientos with a GPA of 111.0208.
The top ten graduates include No. 3 Alana Ojeda Elizondo with a GPA of 110.5000; No. 4 Jarett Bates with a GPA of 109.9362; No. 5 Ileana Fernandez with a GPA of 109.7059; No. 6 Gabriela Conde with a GPA of 109.7027; No. 7 Ricardo Rodriguez with a GPA of 109.6341; No. 8 Luis Rodriguez with a GPA of 108.4595; No. 9 Jimmy Hinojosa, Jr. with a GPA of 108.3947; and No. 10 Andres Arizpe-Gomez with a GPA of 108.3529.
The Nos. 11-20 graduates include No. 11. Miriam Rodriguez with a GPA of 107.8500; No. 12 Dariela Hernandez with a GPA of 107.6127; No. 13 Paola Chavarria with a GPA of 107.2000; No. 14 with a GPA of Paulina Brown with a GPA of 107.0851; No. 15 Roberto De La Cabada with a GPA of 107.0286; No. 16 Jonathan Guerra with a GPA of 106.9730; No. 17 Gunner Purcell with a GPA of 106.7838; No. 18 Jaslie Banda with a GPA of 106.6389; No. 19 Lindsey Rivera with a GPA of 106.4565; and No. 20 Vanessa Gracia with a GPA of 106.3438.
The Nos. 21-31 graduates include No. 21 Bruno Lara with a GPA of 105.7000; No. 22 Regina Galan with a GPA of 105.5385; No. 23 Jose Ruiz with a GPA of 105.3571; No. 24 Romelia Flores with a GPA of 105.1667; No. 25 Daria Pena with a GPA of 105.0526; No. 26 Chrysta Schuessler with a GPA of 104.8947; No. 27 Clayton De La Garza with a GPA of 104.785; No. 28 Diego Valdivia with a GPA of 104.5333; No. 29 Selma Mijares with a GPA of 104.4706; No. 30 Lisa Gonzalez with a GPA of 104.4063; and No. 31 Daniela Madera with a GPA of 104.3667.
Over 600 seniors will be graduating in the Class of 2020 at Eagle Pass High School.
The graduation for the Eagle Pass High School Class of 2020 is scheduled on Friday, June 5, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the graduation may have certain restrictions such as social distancing. The Eagle Pass Independent School District will be announcing the graduation details in the immediate future.
