Motorist Strikes Eagle Pass High School Security Building After Falling Asleep at the Wheel
(Press Release) On Monday, April 27, 2020 at 8:16 AM, Eagle Pass Police Department Units responded to the intersection of Bibb and Second Streets in regards to a single vehicle accident. Officers arrived and encountered a white 2010 Dodge pick on its side after striking and causing extensive damage to a structure at the east entrance to the Eagle Pass High School. The lone male occupant and driver of the vehicle was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. After interviewing the driver, it was determined he had fallen asleep after traveling to Eagle Pass from an out of town job site. No criminal charges are anticipated.
