Eagle Pass Police Department Crime Report
(Press Release) On Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at 11:42 AM, Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident at 1860 South Veterans Boulevard where the female driver of a gray Nissan Altima involved in the accident, identified herself to an officer only as Keesha. The vehicle driven by Keesha fled the scene and was later located at a residence on Leonel Street. Officers were informed by the homeowner that Keesha had left the vehicle and fled on foot.
On Wednesday April 22, 2020, an Eagle Pass Police Investigator patrolling the parking area of the HEB, witnessed a female board a gray 2003 Ford pickup which travelled west on Main Street. A traffic stop was conducted on the 300 block of Comal Street and after receiving variations of her name, the female was identified as 23 year old Keesha Lee Anna Rodriguez and further identified as the female involved in the motor vehicle accident who fled from officers on Tuesday April 21, 2020. Upon taking Rodriguez into custody she was discovered to be in possession of a small clear plastic baggie of cocaine and computer inquiry further revealed an assault warrant from Bexar County.
Keesha Lee Anna Rodriguez was arrested and charged with Evading Arrest, Failure to identify, Possession of a controlled substance and the warrant from Bexar County was served. Rodriguez was remanded to the Tom Bowles Detention Center in lieu of a combined $12,000.00 bond on all charges.
