Eagle Pass City Council Early Voting Election Period Underway

The City of Eagle Pass, Texas City Council Election for two positions commenced the Early Voting Period on Monday, April 22, 2019 through April 30, 2019 at the Eagle Pass Multi-Purpose Center located at 480 South Adams Street in downtown Eagle Pass at Fort Duncan Park.
The Early Voting Period during April 22-30th is from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. at the Eagle Pass Multi-Purpose Center, except Monday, April 29th, will be open extended hours from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M. All City of Eagle Pass registered voters are encouraged to participate in this important City Council Election and cast their vote for the candidates of their choice.
For Place 3 City Council, there are three candidates running for this position including incumbent City Council Member Yolanda P. Ramon, veteran newsman Hector Munoz Mijares, and political neophyte Alfredo Arellano.
In Place 1 City Council, incumbent William “Billy” Davis drew no opponent and will automatically be declared the winner after the May 4, 2019 Election.
Regular Election Day is Saturday, May 4th, from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. at the Multi-Purpose Center.
A democracy is only as strong as its members exercising their right to vote and making a difference in their government. All registered Eagle Pass voters should take five minutes of their time to come out and cast a ballot for the candidates of their preference.
