Eagle Pass to unveil new Business Promotional Video
(Press Release) Eagle Pass Mayor Ramsey English-Cantu will officially unveil the city’s new Business & Industry Promotional Video at the Eagle Pass Business & Economic Development Committee (BEDC) Quarterly Meeting on March 28, 2019, at the International Center for Trade.
The Eagle Pass Business & Industry Promotional Video was a year-long venture that was a signature project of the Eagle Pass BEDC. The project included a collaborative partnership led by the City of Eagle Pass, which included the Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce, Eagle Pass ISD, Union Pacific, Falcon Bank, IBC Bank, Maverick County Hospital District, Lucky Eagle Hotel & Casino, Eagle Pass Business Journal, and Morris Libson & Family.
The BEDC Sub-Committees on Marketing and Amenities Tourism & Visitors launched the project last year as part of their goals to promote Eagle Pass to potential outside business investors while promoting tourism.
The project committee included Mayor Ramsey English-Cantu, Ricardo Calderon (BEDC Marketing Chair), Jaime Rodriguez (BEDC Amenities Tourism & Visitors Chair), Hector Cerna (BEDC Business & Industry Chair), Sandra Martinez (Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce Executive Director), Ivan Morua (Assistant City Manager), Aide Castano (Eagle Pass Director of Marketing & Tourism), Placido Madera (Eagle Pass Assistant Finance Director), and EMC Strategy Group as project managers.
Roger Zamora, President & CEO of San Antonio based marketing & communications firm, Rogy Productions, worked with the committee to complete the project, which will now move to its next phase that will include a targeted marketing campaign.

The Eagle Pass Business & Industry Promotional Video will be posted online on March 28 for public viewing after the mayor’s official unveiling. The BEDC will work with Eagle Pass’ New City Manager George Antuna to present a marketing campaign strategy to the mayor and city council for approval over the next several weeks.
