City of Eagle Pass Temporarily Closes Three Streets to Conduct Survey
(Press Release) The City of Eagle Pass, Eagle Pass Police and Fire Departments and City Public Works are currently conducting a street survey on three streets which have been proposed for permanent closure by city council.
The three streets in question are Church Street, Rio Grande Street and Williams Street which all intersect with a railroad crossing.
Temporary street closure signs have been placed at these intersections and the public is asked to please abide by these signs.
The survey is being conducted in order to study the simulated flow of traffic if the streets were to be permanently closed.
More information regarding these possible street closures will be forthcoming upon the conclusion of study which is estimated to last between 10 to 14 days.
