CBP Officer Paul Del Rincon Named Eagle Pass Port Director

United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Officer Paul Del Rincon of Tucson, Arizona was named the new Port Director at Eagle Pass, Texas and commenced his new duties on Monday, August 6, 2018, to cheers and applause from both Eagle Pass, Texas and Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico citizens who daily or regularly travel through the Eagle Pass Port.
Del Rincon previously served several months as Interim Port Director in Eagle Pass during 2018, but returned to his CBP Post in Tucson, Arizona after completing his Interim stint. Del Rincon earned praise from international travelers during his Interim Port Director tenure in Eagle Pass due to the extraordinary measures implemented under his leadership to improve the travel and crossing times at the Eagle Pass Port.
Fortunately for Eagle Passans, Del Rincon applied for the permanent Port Director position in Eagle Pass and was selected among many candidates for the permanent post.
Eagle Pass Port Director Paul Del Rincon looks forward to working with the citizens of Eagle Pass and Piedras Negras as well as his staff in continuing to improve the crossing times and facilitating increased international trade and travel at the Eagle Pass Port while fulfilling the mission of CBP.
