Eagle Pass Lady Eagles Alexandra Martinez Selected to Play in All-American Travel Softball Team

Eagle Pass High School Lady Eagles standout softball player Alexandra Martinez has been selected by national college head softball coaches to play in the All-American Team at the upcoming Colorado 4th of July Tournament in Westminster, Colorado as a result of her outstanding performance in the Sparkler Travel Softball Tournament in Denver, Colorado while playing for the South Texas Lady Gators.
Alexandra Martinez was named as a District 29-6A All-District Second Team selection during the 2018 Texas High School softball season with the Eagle Pass High School Lady Eagles.
Martinez is participating with the South Texas Lady Gators during the summer of 2018 in order to gain further experience and hopefully catch the eyes of national college head softball coaches and receive a possible scholarship offer to play at the collegiate level next year.
Martinez is a versatile softball player capable of playing just about every position in the field and swings a potent bat.
Martinez was the lone player of the South Texas Lady Gators Travel Softball Team selected to play in the prestigious All-American Team in the Colorado 4th of July Tournament in Westminster, Colorado.
Both the Sparkler Travel Softball Tournament and the Colorado 4th of July Tournament are considered among the top collegiate recruiting softball tournaments in the country with over 200 collegiate head softball coaches present scouting the players.
