Eagle Pass High School Graduation Scheduled Friday, June 8th

The mighty Eagle Pass High School Eagles Class of 2018 graduation is scheduled to be held on Friday, June 8, 2018, at 8 P.M. at the Eagle Pass Independent School District (EPISD) Student Activity Center Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium, announced EPISD Superintendent Gilberto Gonzalez.
Over 500 seniors will be graduating from the Eagle Pass High School Class of 2018.
Leading the Class of 2018 Eagle Pass High School Eagles graduating class are Valedictiorian Fernanda Gonzales Gonzalez with an extraordinary GPA of 110.1579, Salutatorian Jennifer Peña with a GPA of 109.4186, and the top five percent honor graduates including Emily Chavarria with a GPA of 109.3913, Araceli M. In case of inclement weather such as rain or other weather-related event on Friday, June 8th, the Eagle Pass High School Graduation Ceremony will be moved to 10 A.M. on Saturday, June 9th, at the EPISD Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium. If it is raining on the day of graduation, please tune in to your local radio station, watch I-Vision on Cable TV, or call your campus to receive further details about the graduation. If rain continues on the rescheduled date of June 9th, then the graduation ceremony will be cancelled and students can pick up their diploma the following business day at Eagle Pass High School.
All graduates, parents, family, and guests are reminded that there is heavy construction on U.S. Highway 277 South leading to the entrance of the EPISD Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium and encouraged to enter the Stadium through Loop 480 from both U.S. Highway 57 and FM 1021 (El Indio Rd.) and to take plenty of time to arrive to the Stadium due to large traffic expected.
