Family & Consumer Health Agency Committee Meets
(PRESS RELEASE) The Family & Consumer Health Agency (formerly known as Family & Consumer Science Agency) met at the Maverick County Hospital District on Tuesday, May 22nd to discuss upcoming Summer Programming and to review some of the programs implemented this past year. Programs reviewed were the Food Handlers’ Certification Training, Cancer Prevention, Nutrition and Financial Literacy, “Let’s Get Fit”, Cancer Prevention Cooking School, Health Expo, KTTT Robotics Program and KTTT Community Garden. The Committee is pleased with the success of last year’s programs and looks forward to their continuation next year.
