Eagle Pass Winn Lady Mavericks Softball Face Corpus Christi Carroll Lady Tigers in Bi-District Championship during April 27-28th

The thundering Eagle Pass Winn High School Lady Mavericks Softball Team will face the Corpus Christi Carroll High School Lady Tigers in the 2018 University Interscholastic League Class 5A, Region IV Bi-District Championship in a best of three series during April 27-28, 2018, at the Jourdanton Independent School District Softball Stadium in Jourdanton, Texas, announced Lady Mavericks Head Coach J.J. Iracheta.

The Lady Mavericks finished in third place in District 29-5A with a District record of 8-3 and 23-10 overall in the season to earn a state playoffs berth during the 2018 season, drawing the potent Corpus Christi Carroll High School Lady Tigers from District 30-5A South Division as their Bi-District Championship opponent.  The Corpus Christi Carroll Lady Tigers placed second place in District 30-5A South Division.

The two schools have met and agreed to a best of three Bi-District Championship series to be played at a neutral site during April 27-28, 2018, at the Jourdanton Independent School District Softball Stadium in Jourdanton, Texas.  The teams have agreed to play Game One on Friday, April 27, 2018, at 7 P.M. while Game Two will be played on Saturday, April 28th at 1 P.M. and, if necessary, Game Three will follow 30 minutes after Game Two on Saturday, April 28th.
