Eagle Pass CC Winn Mavericks Rey Vasquez Signs Letter of Intent to Play College Football at Bethel College

Eagle Pass C. C. Winn High School Head Football Coach Eric Villasenor announced that senior defensive back Rey Vasquez has signed a national letter of intent to play college football with the Bethel College Threshers of Newton, Kansas on Thursday, April 13, 2017.
Rey Vasquez was a key defensive player on the Mavericks historic 2016 football season that garnered the school’s first District 29-5A Co-Championship, Bi-District Championship, Area Championship, and Regional Quarter-Finalists.
Vasquez thanked his parents, coaches, teammates, and teachers for encouraging him to excel both in the classroom and on the field while studying at C. C. Winn High School. He expressed being excited about fulfilling his childhood dream to play college football at Bethel College.
Head Coach Eric Villasenor stated that he is confident that Rey Vasquez will succeed at Bethel College due to his total dedication and discipline to the sport of football during his four years as a C. C. Winn Mavericks player.
