2016 Eagle Pass High School Eagles Football Schedule

The mighty Eagle Pass High School Eagles under the helm of Head Football Coach Tom Gonzalez announced their 2016 Football Schedule. The Eagles will compete in a new realigned District 29-6A which includes the Del Rio High School Rams, San Antonio Southwest High School Dragons, San Antonio South San High School Bobcats, Laredo United High School Longhorns, Laredo United South High School Panthers, Laredo Alexander High School Bulldogs, Laredo LBJ High School Wolves, and Eagle Pass High School Eagles.

The Eagles will open the 2016 Texas High School Football season against the Medina Valley High School Panthers in a non-district game during zero week at home on Friday, August 26, 2016, at 7:30pm, at the Eagle Pass Independent School District Student Activity Center’s Cozell Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium.

During the first week of the season, the Eagles will battle the Laredo Cigarroa High School Toros in a non-district tilt away on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 7:30pm, at Laredo Independent School District Shirley Field in Laredo, Texas.

In the second week, the Eagles will tangle with their cross-town rival, C. C. Winn High School Mavericks, in the traditional Menudo Bowl for the magical City Championship on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 7:30pm, at the EPISD SAC Cozell Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium.

During the third week, the Eagles open District 29-6A regular season play against the Laredo Alexander High School Bulldogs away on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 7:00pm, at the Laredo United Independent School District Student Actiivity Complex in Laredo, Texas.

In the fourth week, the Eagles face the Laredo LBJ High School Wolves in another District 29-6A game at home on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 7:00pm, at the EPISD SAC.

During the fifth week, the Eagles will enjoy their Open Week on Friday, September 30, 2016.

In the sixth week, the Eagles resume District 29-6A play against the San Antonio South San High School Bobcats away on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 7:30pm, at South San Independent School District Stadium in San Antonio, Texas.

During the seventh week, the Eagles host Laredo United South High School Panthers at home in a District 29-6A game on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 7:30pm, at EPISD SAC.

In the eighth week, the Eagles will tangle with the Laredo United HIgh School Longhorns in a key District 29-6A game away on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 7:30pm, at Laredo United ISD SAC.

During the ninth week, the Eagles battle the San Antonio Southwest High School Dragons in an important District 29-6A game away on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 7:30pm, at Southwest ISD Stadium in San Antonio, Texas.

In the final and tenth week, the Eagles face their arch-rival Del Rio High School Rams in a District 29-6A tilt at home on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 7:30pm, at EPISD SAC.

The Eagle Pass Eagles hope to surprise their District 29-6A foes in 2016 and make the State playoffs by finishing among the top four teams in district.
