2015 Eagle Pass High School Eagles Football Schedule

The mighty Eagle Pass High School Eagles will kick-off their 2015 Texas High School Football season under the leadership of Head Coach Tom Gonzalez on Saturday, August 29, 2015, against the Killeen Ellison High School Eagles in a Non-District game at Converse-Judson ISD Stadium, at 7 P.M. at Converse, Texas.
During the second week, the Eagle Pass Eagles will host the Laredo Nixon High School Mustangs in another Non-District game at the Eagle Pass Independent School District Cozel Foster-Memorial Veterans Football Stadium at 7 P.M. on Thursday, September 3, 2015, in Eagle Pass.
The third week of the season will be the classic City Championship Football Game between the home team Eagle Pass Eagles versus the visiting cross-town rival C. C. Winn High School Mavericks on Friday, September 11, 2015, at 7:30 P.M. at Cozel Foster-Memorial Veterans Football Stadium in Eagle Pass. This should be a great game between the Eagles and Mavericks. Since both the Eagles and Mavericks compete in separate Districts, this will count as a Non-District game. Don’t miss it.
The fourth week features the Eagle Pass Eagles hosting the high octane San Antonio John Jay High School Mustangs on Parent’s Night in a Non-District game at the Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Football Stadium at 7:30 P.M. on Friday, September 18, 2015.
The fifth week the Eagle Pass Eagles travel to the banks of the Medina River against the explosive San Antonio Southwest High School Dragons in the final Non-District game on Friday, September 25, 2015, at 7:30 P.M. at Southwest ISD Football Stadium in San Antonio.
The Eagle Pass Eagles have an Open Week during the sixth week of the Texas high school football season on October 3, 2015 before starting District 29-6A competition the following week.
During the seventh week, the Eagle Pass Eagles open District 29-6A play against the rising Laredo United South High School Panthers on Thursday, October 8, 2015, at 7 P.M. at the Laredo United ISD Student Activity Complex in Laredo.
The eighth week of the season has the Eagle Pass Eagles returning to the fair U.S.-Mexico border city of Laredo to face the District 29-6A upstart Laredo LBJ High School Wolves on Thursday, October 15, 2015, at 7 P.M. at the Laredo United ISD Student Activity Complex.
During the ninth week, the Eagle Pass Eagles host the highly competitive District 29-6A nemesis Laredo United High School Longhorns on Friday, October 23, 2015, at 7:30 P.M. at the Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Football Stadium in Eagle Pass.
The tenth week features the Eagle Pass Eagles traveling to Laredo to play District 29-6A foe Laredo Alexander High School Bulldogs on Thursday, October 29, 2015, at 7 P.M. at the Laredo United ISD Student Activity Complex.
The eleventh week has been designated as Homecoming Week for the Eagle Pass Eagles as they host District 29-6A arch rival Del Rio High School Rams on Friday, November 6, 2015, at 7:30 P.M. at Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Football Stadium in Eagle Pass.
The Eagles will seek to contend for one of the four state playoff spots in District 29-6A during the 2015 football season.
Leading the Eagles on offense will include Quarterback Alan Morales, Tailbacks Mark Venegas, Jose Riojas, and Norby Galindo, Wide Receivers Ricky Reyes and Chance Rodriguez, Slot Backs Dee Andre Torres and Ricky Medina, Offensive Center Cody Esquivel, and Offensive Linemen Adrian Rodriguez, Jovan Garza, Iram Gaytan, Chuy Fernandez, and Place Kicker Jose Riojas.
Providing the Defensive support for the Eagles will include Defensive Linemen Brandon Garza, Jesus Fernandez, Caleb Garcia, Angel Miranda, and Sebastian Hernandez, Linebackers Alex Alvarez, Mando Lopez, David Ramos, and Rick Medina, and Defensive Backs Dee Andre Torres, Oscar Hernandez, Kevin Elizalde, and Sergio Alvarez.
Assisting Head Coach Tom Gonzalez are Offensive Coordinator Javier Cardenas, Defensive Coordinator Roger Olivas, Special Teams Coordinator Oscar Ruiz, and Assistant Coaches Rich Gonzalez, Sam Navejas, Pete Venegas, Ricky Ruiz, Chris Villa, Joe Villa, Mario Mata, Ruben Besa, and Jesus Juarez.
