Walgreens opens in Eagle Pass amidst soft opening

Walgreens officially opened its long awaited pharmacy and retail store in Eagle Pass, Texas on Saturday, November 15, 2014 in a planned soft-opening by the company, announced Store Manager Jose Valle.
The new Walgreens is located at 2341 East Main Street across from the Maverick County Lake.
Eagle Passans flocked to the newly opened Walgreens store during the weekend of November 15-16th to have their prescriptions filled and shop at the newest business to open its doors in Eagle Pass.
Walgreens is opened Sunday through Saturday from 8 A.M. to 10 P.M. with the Pharmacy opened Monday through Friday from 9 A.M. to 10 P.M. and on Saturday and Sunday from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M.
The new Walgreens is approximately 18,000 square feet and currently employs approximately 20 persons.
Store Manager Jose Valle welcomes all Eagle Passans, Maverick Countians, Piedras Negras, Coahuila and northern Coahuila residents, Del Rio, Brackettville, La Pryor, Crystal City, Carrizo Springs, Big Wells, and Asherton, Texas residents to shop at their retail store and pharmacy.
“We are excited to open and join the Eagle Pass business community and look forward to providing quality and professional products, prescriptions, and service to all customers,” said Valle.
Walgreens provides consumer goods and services, pharmaceutical services, photo studio, health and wellness services through its retail drug stores.
Walgreens is the largest drug retailing store chain in the United States and has over 8,217 stores opened in the 50 states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands. Walgreens was founded in 1901 in Chicago, Illinois and its corporate headquarters are in Deerfield, Illinois.
An official grand opening will be held in the future.
