H.E.B. Kicks-off Healthy Initiative Program for Customers

HEB kicked off its Healthy Initiative Program on Saturday January 14th, as they embarked in a healthier way of eating, shopping, and living for its customers.

As HEB celebrated the kickoff to their Health Initiative Program, they had information booths giving out information on healthier foods, meal planning, nutritional information, recipes, and were also conducting free health screenings, checking blood pressures, glucose levels, and cholesterol levels for the community.

“We are beginning the Healthy Initiative Program in order to assist the community with a healthier way

of living, eating, and exercising. We have all kinds of information on healthy food products that we offer in our stores,” said Andy Perales, HEB Store Director. “We also had a variety of different exercise demonstrations and health screenings to assist our community on the awareness of a healthier state of being. We had great participation by our community and will continue to implement in our store many ways to promote healthier living and eating,” Victor Garcia, HEB Store Manager said.
