Two 18 Wheeler Tractor Trailer Head On Collision on US Highway 277 North kills Two Persons in Maverick County

A two 18 Wheeler Tractor Trailer head-on collision on US Highway 277 North about one mile north of Quemado, Maverick County, Texas on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at approximately 6-7 am has left two persons dead.

The tragic accident occurred early in the morning of Saturday, May 27, 2017, blocking traffic on US Highway 277 North between Eagle Pass and Del Rio, Texas. Traffic has been deviated to Spofford and Bracketville, Texas between Eagle Pass and Del Rio.

The fatal accident is under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
