2017 International Friendship Festival Parade Winners Announced

The Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce announced the winners at the 2017 Eagle Pass International Friendship Festival Parade held on Saturday, April 1, 2017, in downtown Eagle Pass.

The theme of the parade was “Fun at the Circus.”

Winning the Best of Show Award was the float presented and sponsored by Santana Family Care and Fort Duncan Hospice Care under the leadership of Claudia Santana.

The Best Float/Decorated Truck Award went to the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas entry.

The Best Marching Band Award was earned by the Eagle Pass High School Mighty Eagle Marching Band.

The Best Drill Team Award was won by the Eagle Pass C. C. Winn High School AFJROTC TX 20122 Non-Uniform Flight Drill Team.

The Best Decorated Car Award went to Miss Pre-Teen Fiestas Patrias Nadia Martinez Cortes’ entry.

The Best Decorated Pick-Up Truck Award was earned by the Miss Pre-Teen International Frienship Festival entry.

The Best Drill Team-Elementary Level Award was won by the Perfecto Mancha Elementary School Mighty Mustangs Drill Team.

The Best Gymnastics/Sporting Award went to the ECS Special Needs Team.
