Eagle Pass Talent Nominated for 35th Annual Tejano Music Awards

Eagle Pass’s musical talent will be highlighted among the Tejano music elite at the 35th Annual Tejano Music Awards on October 24, 2015 at the Tobin Center for Performing Arts in San Antonio, Texas. Native Eagle Passan Rudy Trevino is a co-founder of the Tejano Music Awards.
Among the local musical talent nominated for one or more awards are Oscar G y Grupo Sol, Jessica Sanchez, Da Krazy Pimpz, and Los Garcia Brothers.
Oscar G., a veteran of the Tejano music recording industry, is looking to bring home the coveted Tejano Song of the Year Award with Eternamente, a song he debuted in the latter part of 2014 featuring Aldaberto Gallegos (Latin Breed). Eternamente is a strong melodic signature Oscar G. song. Eternamente is a big hit in Oscar G’s comeback album titled Back N Better produced by Manuel Garza of MG Records of Eagle Pass.
Oscar G is also nominated for the Vocal Duo Award category with Adalberto Gallegos for the song titled Eternamente.
Da Krazy Pimpz featuring local talent brothers, Eddie and Jaime Jimenez, and Eagle Pass’s very own Jessica Sanchez are up for nomination in the Vocal Duo Award category for their performance on the song titled Nada los Podra Bajar, which appeared in Da Krazy Pimpz 2014 album titled Nadie Nos Podra Bajar. They are facing fierce competition in the likes of veterans Elida Reyna and Jay Perez with the song Siempre Seras Para Mi and another Eagle Pass talent Oscar G who is nominated together with Aldalberto Gallegos for the song titled Eternamente..
The Jimenez Brothers (Eddie and Jaime) are also veterans in the Tejano music industry playing alongside Tejano greats such as Gary Hobbs, Elsa Garcia, Los Garcia Brothers and have performed for years with other groups including their own musical projects.
Da Krazy Pimpz have been nominated for the Tejano Music Awards on three occasions, including two nominations for the most recent Tejano Music Awards in the month of October 2015.
Jessica Sanchez has amassed a huge Tejano music fan base following her win for Best New Female Artist in 2012.
Eddie Jimenez has stated that he is very appreciative of the nominations and just being able to participate among the Tejano Music elite.

Da Krazy Pimpz are also nominated for the Tejano Conjunto Album of the Year category for their album titled Nada Los Podra Bajar.
Da Krazy Pimpz will be going up against Eagle Pass’s very own pride and joy, Los Garcia Brothers, who continue striving and living the dream that Jimmy Garcia together with his brother,Joey and his father Joe, cemented in the early 2000’s, who are also nominated for Tejano Conjunto Album of the Year with their album titled Aferrado Mi Loco. Veteran greats The Hometown Boys are also nominated in this category with their album El Siguiente Capitulo. They all will have heavy hitters and legendary Flaco Jimenez and Max Baca to look out for with their nomination album titled Legends and Legacies.
.Da Krazy Pimpz recently released their new single “Un Corazon Como El Tuyo” from their upcoming album in which they collaborated with Tejano singer-songwriter Alberto “Beto” Ramon. The upcoming Da Krazy Pimpz album titled Un Corazon Como El Tuyo is scheduled to be released in late November 2015.
Jessica Sanchez continues to strive for Tejano mucic excellence using her strong vocal presence to delight and entertain music audiences throughout the United States and Mexico.
Oscar G and Grupo Sol are currently performing all over the United States in promotion of their musical album titled Back N Better, including a recent performance at the Wisconsin State Fair in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and gigs in the State of Michigan.
Los Garcia Brothers continue to cement their legacy in the Tejano Conjunto world with performances and musical shows all across the U.S as well, promoting their newest album.
