Casa Del Sol Caffee Opens its Doors

A great way of waking up in the morning is with a fresh cup of coffee. The Eagle Pass downtown area has a new coffee shop business at 402 Main Street. Located inside of Luna’s Hometown Pharmacy is Casa Del Sol Caffee. which specializes in a variety of coffees, espressos, cappuccinos, teas, and juices that delight everyone’s thirst for a great drink.
Casa Del Sol also offers a variety of delicious pastries such as the Mexican sweetbread Biscotti’s which go great with your coffee drink of choice and an assortment of tasty delights that are sure to please the taste palette . Included in the menu are also an assortment of breakfast tacos topped off with a homemade salsa, oatmeal cookies and different toast such as raisin bread and other options for your breakfast desires.
Complementing the menu is also a light lunch menu consisting of a variety of sandwiches and salads and other tasty treats.
Casa Del Sol is owned by longtime entrepreneur Carmen Ravenna owner of La Pulguita Classifieds. “I was seeking to open up the Caffee and the opportunity arose for us to do so in the heart of the downtown area. And we decided it was time to throw in our hat at the restaurant Caffee business once again, ” Ravenna said.
“The first few days have seen much promise. We are noticing that it looks like it is going to be a nice cozy place for the community to come in and enjoy a nice cup of joe and relax. A nice atmospheric place to sit down and enjoy a coffee, juices, breakfast , lunch or pastries while you enjoy a good conversation with the other patrons or the staff. We live in a community that has a very good neighborly feel to it. It transcends throughout the community where everybody knows your name and conversations spark up between each other all the time. I want to provide a nice friendly cozy place for all coffee drinkers where you can come in and start up your day with a good cup of coffee and meet up with your friends, colleagues. A little cozy time out, away from the everyday grind of life and work is what we are trying to provide to our patrons,” Ravenna said.
Casa Del Sol Caffee is open Monday through Friday from 9a.m. to 5:00p.m. The community is invited to visit and enjoy a variety of coffee’s, lattes, and other great drinks along with homemade pastries and breakfast and lunch menu at 402 Main Street inside Luna’s Hometown Pharmacy.
